LEAN PRINTING…
To better serve our customers with on-time and right first time services and products Coastal Printing embarked on a “Lean Printing Program” in June of 2010. “Lean” describes a proven set of tools and techniques guided by well-defined policies and practices that when implemented properly foster a culture that promotes a sense of pride, self-awareness, and a desire to always look for a better way to do any task. Based on this Lean Printing Philosophy our mission statement is:
Coastal Printing is a collectively managed, innovative, fun and exciting Commercial Printing Company, that produces profitable, high-quality communication products and services at very competitive prices.
Lean Printing is a journey without an end and we have been embracing this work philosophy since June of 2010. The steps we have taken down this path are enabling us to grow in a very competitive environment, by reducing waste and increasing productivity.
